RECIEVE JESUS

THE WAY, THE TRUTH, & THE LIFE

Thank you for your decision to follow Jesus! You’ve chosen the way, the truth, and the life. This is the most important decision you’ll ever make.

Why it’s so Important

Choosing to follow Jesus is a crucial step for many reasons, as shown in the Bible:

  • Salvation and Eternal Life: The Bible tells us that “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). By accepting Jesus, you are forgiven of your sins and have the promise of eternal life with God.
  • A New Creation: When you accept Jesus, you become a new person in Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Your past is no longer what defines you; your identity is now found in Him.
  • Reconciliation with God: Sin separated us from God, but through Jesus, that relationship is restored. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). You are now at peace with God.

Declare Your Faith

To declare your decision to follow Jesus, you can pray this simple prayer. It’s not a magic formula, but a genuine expression of your heart’s desire to commit to Him.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I need you. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I invite you into my heart to be my Lord and Savior. From this day forward, I want to follow you. Amen.”
